4 Stars Good exercises
I like the exercises on this video. The lady that leads them is a little weird, though. Sometimes it sounds like she isn’t sure what she’s talking about. I would have liked to have seen ahead of time that I would need certain equipment in order to participate in all the workouts, like a strength band, a medicine ball, what size weights, etc. Over all, though, it’s a really good work out.

5 Stars Rated as a Top prental DVD for a reason
I really enjoyed this DVD. Out of all of the prenatal DVDs I have used, this one demonstrated the most thorough understanding of the physiological needs and demands of a woman in all phases of pregnancy. The exercises are challenging enough, yet I really felt safe. My highest recommendation.

5 Stars Best prenatal yoga DVD I’ve ever seen
This DVD is great! A wonderful intermediate level prenatal yoga flow. It is professinal looking, the background is beautiful, and Sara demonstrates the poses elegantly. Her voice is soothing and sweet. This would also be a great DVD to do after pregnancy. Thank you Sara for coming out with an intermediate level flow. Some prenatal DVDs are too basic and gentle. This one is just the right level for many of us.

5 Stars Fantastic Prenatal Workout!
This is a fantastic prenatal workout. The instruction is easy to follow. The poses are challenging, but very attainable throughout the entire pregnancy.

Sara’s voice and the music are very soothing and this turned out to be a very relaxing part of my routing while I was pregnant. The scenery was tranquil…it was beautifully shot! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is expecting…it can be done at any stage throughout the pregnancy. :=)

5 Stars The perfect Pre-Natal Yoga DVD!
Great flow with easy to follow as well as informative narration! The soft and soothing voice is nice to listen to. Shot in a beautiful surrounding!

It is very comforting that Sara seems to be pretty far along in her pregnancy when the DVD was taped. She is not just talking about doing poses but actually goes into the asanas with “the big belly”:-)

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Fitmom video
I like this DVD- it’s fun to do with my 7 month old and I definitely sweat. It is a whole lot of squats and lunges, but also some abs and arms and a little stretching. I wish it had a little bit of cardio- but the description may have told me that it didn’t (I don’t remember)

5 Stars Great for Mom and Baby
A brilliant way to get fit and healthy post partum and also spend quality time with your baby. The workout is challenging, safe, fun and innovative and full of excellent information. Andrea Page is the guru of pre and postnatal fitness and shows why in this DVD. A must buy for any new mom or mom to be.

4 Stars You need a carrier!
I’m sorry, i didn’t watch the video cause I didn’t have the carrier that you need to complete the exercises. I gave it a 4 though because to me… i don’t know I just think exercising with a carrier isn’t as interactive as working out with your baby without one. I had to return this video! Nowhere else does it say you need a carrier, but you do!

5 Stars Great results, quick, rewarding!
I started this video with my 4 month old and it was great. In the 4 months after my son’s birth, I hadn’t done much exercise at all- regardless, I could complete the workout on the first try. The workout might be “nothing exciting” for people who regularly take aerobics classes, but for me it’s exciting enough and I learned some things. It involves the baby the entire video and my son loves it.

5 Stars No other post-natal DVD like it!
A few weeks following the birth of my 2nd child, I was aching to get back into exercise. Since my 2 year-old never really let me have any time for myself, I was able to finish Andrea’s workout with time to spare while she napped. I love being able to exercise with my newborn. No other DVDs have offered me a complete workout like Fitmom’s! Excellent!!!

4 Stars My favorite!
I purchased 3 pre natal yoga dvds and this one is my favorite. Rocki is a great instructor. I would not suggest this for someone who has never done Yoga before, but for intermediates it is a must have!

5 Stars A lifesaver!
This video has been a lifesaver for me, both mentally and physically. It’s not flashy or gimmicky and the instructor isn’t a celebrity (that I know of) but the workout is very solid. I think that’s one of the things I like best about it - it’s substance not just show. It seems like Rocki really knows what she’s doing because I always feel so good after doing the video. She offers different ways to do the poses, which is great on days that I don’t feel my best. (I imagine that will be handy later in my pregnancy, too, when I approach the size of a whale.) I highly recommend it for any preggo who wants to feel good.

4 Stars Decent Video
This video gives a good workout, but the problem is it is a bit fast paced so this makes it a bit to follow in the beginning. However, once you get used to it, it is a good workout video. The next two videos are a bit slower paced, but their content is two short. I think all three videos should be placed on one DVD. In this video, there is a decent focus on kagels , so that is a definite plus. These are the thoughts of my wife by the way, as well, I don’t see this video helping the “coach” very much :)

5 Stars Great Yoga Tape for 2nd & 3rd Trimester
I love this tape. I think Rocki does a great job of selecting poses that stretch & strengthen in all the right places. She doesn’t over-explain, so you can really use it again and again without getting annoyed. It also dovetails very nicely into birthing positions. I plan to get this DVD for all my friends who find out they’re pregnant - I was surprised at some of the unfavorable reviews, but I guess different bodies need different things. I practice yoga and am a dancer and this was perfect for me.

4 Stars Gentle pregnant exercise
She has a weird voice. If you can get over her gnarly asthetic then this DVD is great. The poses weren’t too strenuous and she didn’t try to push you too hard. I liked that the women actually looked pregnant as some other DVD’s find stick thin pregnant women who make you feel bloated. It was a good time worth the money!

5 Stars CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have read some REALLY good reviews about this DVD series, so I am excited to order… but, I’m deffinately NOT going to order from here! What is up with the price of the DVD???????????????? I did just a little bit of research and found it for just 11.99 on one website, then 16.99 on another!!!! what is going on here??? there must be some mistake!

5 Stars Despite the cover - this is a great DVD…
I had been doing various kundalini yoga DVDs by Ana Brett and Ravi Singh and loved them. When I needed to switch to something designed for prenatal yoga, it was discouraging that there aren’t many prenatal kundalini yoga DVDs. I bought two - and this is by far my favorite. My only complaint is that it is an hour long, and I wish there was an easy way to break it up (like the matrix option the Ana and Ravi DVDs have). Overall though - I love it!

5 Stars great pregnancy yoga
I am currently 33 weeks along and have been using this DVD for the last two months or so. In the last couple of weeks, I have been using it every day. It is very relaxing and effective, and I have not suffered any lower back pain at all since using this dvd. I found the keep-up exercise very challenging at first, but it’s become much easier and it really does help me focus on my breathing and relaxing through the challenge. Anna might not explain how every single posture is beneficial to the pregnant body but they are all postures that I have seen in either pregnancy books or in other DVDs that are meant to facilitate pregnancy and/or childbirth.

5 Stars Wonderful DVD!!
I used this DVD through my entire pregnancy and as a way to get back into exercise post-partum. I credit it with opening my joints, keeping my body stretched, and teaching me how to get to that place of focus that is oh-so-necessary during birth. I had an extremely long homebirth (and eventual hospital transfer) but I still managed to have a natural childbirth because of the focus and sheer strength I had gained from a regular yoga practice.

4 Stars very relaxing
i only used this video a fe wtimes whne i was pregnant because well i just was kind of lazy and tired alot after working, also being very overweight it was hard to get on the floor some days. but when i did watch it, it was very relaxing, especially the music. i was thinking of starting to use it again because i have a bad back and it would probably be at the right pace for me. Some things i couldnt do because i wasnt flexible enough and haven’t done much yoga prior, but then i would just continue with my breathing instead.

5 Stars Awesome…
Very useful product, it held me fit through my entire pregnancy and helped me with managing pain during my delivery. Very useful!!!

2 Stars First Time Mom in WI
These yoga DVDs are terrible. It reminded me of the birthing classes that you may see on some old sitcom. I was hoping for more relaxation and less instruction. (I admit to never watching the full set. I watched part of the first and second DVD.) The instructor gives you different positions to use and gives your coach instruction in how to prevent massage fatigue (use his elbow instead of his hand), but the class is so boring that it is hard to get through. Also, when you are actually in labor, you tell your husband to do what makes you feel better. You don’t think to yourself, “Gee I saw in a video once that rubbing my lower back will help the ache in my back.” Save your money. You can find better, more relaxing videos out there.

3 Stars IT’S OK FOR BEGINNERS
I am trying some pregnancy DVD workouts (26 weeks right now), but to be honest I expected more from this one, I didn’t sweat at all, I liked the upper body routine though. I Tried Kathy Smith’s DVDs before this one and I really liked that one better, but just to have some variety on my workout I think is ok.

5 Stars I can’t help it, I love Denise Austin
Denise Austin is perpetually spunky and happy and cute. I actually caught myself SMILING throughout the whole DVD because she was telling me to. Most of the pregnancy fitness DVDs on the market are about calming down and relaxing… yoga, etc. It’s nice to actually stand up and do some cardio.

The level of exercise is DEFINITELY moderate, but you can increase it or decrease it depending on the size of the movements you make.

I appreciate that the routines are somewhat easier than normal DVDs - and my pregnancy brain appreciates that, too. I also enjoy that there is a weight-training section.

I’d say buy it! Especially for that price.

3 Stars OK
The video is pretty good. I have a couple others that give me a much better work out. It was inexpensive and I would buy again.

5 Stars GREAT workout for pregnancy!!
I LOVE this video! The workout is not to hard, but it will definately get your heart pumping. Its not to long either, so theres no getting bored or worn out before you complete it. I have recommended this to all my pregnant friends!

4 Stars Great work out for all stages of pregnacy
You will use this video! I like it because it is low impact so I do it on the days I’m feeling tired too. It’s a great all over work out that will make you feel refreshed and energized.

5 Stars Great Video
I love this video. It is great for firming and toning while pregnant and can be used in addition to a moderate exercise routine.
